I need to find famous people from Salford or Manchester (UK), past or present, who have/had any kind of "special educational needs" - learning disabilities, Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD), Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD) or Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD) for instance. Ideally, the famous people will have gone to school in the area. |

I can only find one; I'm sure there must be more. Perhaps another researcher may be more succesful. Noel Gallagher of the group Oasis was born and went to school in Manchester.
