I am trying to get special effect contact lenses....I have a
prescription for "Crazy Lenses".  I know some brands are the same
manufacturer and was told by my doctor if they are the same I can get
them....My question is, Are "Eye Color FX" lenses the same
manufacturer?

While researching your question, I contacted the manufacturers of
Crazy Lenses, Coopervision, with your inquiry. The following is their
response:

"Thank you for your email. CooperVision does manufacture the Crazy
Lenses however, we do not manufacture a lens called Eye Color FX. As
contact lenses are regulated medical devices (including cosmetic
lenses such as Crazy Lenses), a valid prescription will be needed to
purchase them. Therefore, your eye care provider should be able to
advise you as to the manufacturer of the Eye Color FX lenses.  I
apologize for this
inconvenience."

Hi olishell,

I had also contacted Eyecolor.com, who carries both Crazy Lenses and
Eye Color FX. I received this response from them today:

"The Crazy lenses are made by Coopervision, and the Fx lenses we buy
from a company called CLS. I beleive they have the same dimensions as
the Crazy lens.
