How can I find the names of the shareholders and corresponding # of
shares of a corporation in Texas if the corporation is not
forthcoming?

Depends a lot on the type of corporation, and the nature of your
interaction with it.  As a rule of thumb, if you're buying the company
-- or putting a proposition before the shareholders -- you MAY have a
legal right to the list of shareholder names, but probably not to the
number of shares (except for a few major shareholders, perhaps).

Otherwise, your odds are slim.

If you can tell us more about the company, and your particular
circumstances, we may be able to help.

You may also have a legal right if you start a class action lawsuit.
