I need a list of several sites where you can...
1)Get an accurate appraisal of a house (online), based on the address.
2)Get a Comparative Market Analysis of a home (online), based on the address.

I would like a list of both free and for-fee sites for each of the above.
I believe that Fannie Mae and lending underwriters have access to a
program that has access to a database that has 95% of all appraisals
that have been performed. The appraisal is extrapolated from this
data and the underwriter can give you a pretty good assessment of what
your house is worth base on this. I believe First American Title
offers something like this, but I have been unable to find the page
and how much it actually cost per report.

Secondly, I am aware of one free online CMA tool (domainia.com) but it
isn't really accurate. I would like a better list of more effective
tools like this one.

So ideally I would like
6-8 Online Home appraisal sites (half beinging for-pay sites and half being free)
and
6-8 CMA (comparative market analysis) webpages. Chances are that the
majority of these will be free since a CMA is not supposed to be as
specific as an appraisal.

Thanks

Mortgage underwriters have access to various databases that allow them
to extrapolate prices within a range. Like I mentioned, services like
domainia.com estimate the fair market price of a home based on
address. I believe First American Title has a service like this. I
know the product is out there, I just would just like to have a survey
done of the best 10 - 12 of these services and what their price
structure is like.

Hi windandrain~

It's really impossible to get an accurate appraisal of a home without
seeing it in person. An address and location simply aren't enough, as
there are all kinds of variables (such as design, condition,
landscaping, etc.) that affect the value of a home.

Kriswrite
