Not all U.S. residents who can afford to buy a home are currently
homeowners. There are no doubt many reasons they don't presently own a
home including lifestyle choices, lack of knowledge, waiting for their
savings/incomes to rise to buy something nicer than they can currently
afford, and others. The American Homeowners Foundation, a nonprofit,
wishes to identify existing recent (last 10 years) qualitative and/or
quantitative survey research literature that breaks down reasons
financially elgible home buyers don't presently own a home by
categories of reasons on a percentile, total population, or other
quantitative basis. The broader the U.S. geographic base of the
research the better. Please cite the research source(s). |
