There have been several cases of a news story that has been 'broken'
by a single journalist or news source that has positively or
negatively affected an individual's, a group's or a company's fortunes
to a tremendous degree. The most memorable of this may be Woodward
and Bernstein of the Washington Post breaking the story about the
Watergate break-in that led to Nixon's resignation.

I am looking for FOUR to SIX examples of a news story, a single
magazine article or a product review that positively or negatively
affected a company's fortunes in a very short period of time (i.e.,
led to immediate arrests or resignations of key management, sent the
company's stock dramatically upward or downward, led to a product
being pulled from the market, etc.) I am looking for two or three
eaxample of each -- 2-3 citations about stories that affected a
company positively AND 2-3 citations about stories that affected a
company negatively) -- and need to get the following info for each
citation:

a. What was the name of the article, the publication (or news source) and the date?
b. Who was the journalist(s)?
c. What company did it affect and how did it affect it?

Hope someone can help!!
