I am a Los Angeles resident looking for a good emergency roadside
assistance provider other than AAA. I'm looking for reviews or
comparisons in things like areas of coverage, pricing, quality of
service, etc.

I tried looking through the list of providers from Yahoo Directory:
http://dir.yahoo.com/Business_and_Economy/Shopping_and_Services/Automotive/Repairs_and_Service/Emergency_Roadside_Service/

However it's difficult to say from this which company offer the best
service or the best deal...

One thing to note is that I'm interested in companies selling roadside
assistance as a primary or individual offering. While many insurance
companies, car dealers/manufacturers and the like offer these kinds of
services, I probably wouldn't want to make additional purchases in
order to qualify...

Thank you.
