Is there a Renaissance Festival somewhere in the San Francisco Bay
Area? I had heard that there was one in Santa Clara, but I can't find
any information with specific dates in the future. I found a page
listing dates for previous years, but I haven't found anything
current.

Forest Renaissance Faire', and in particular the page for the event
happening at Stafford Lake Park in Novato, CA located in Marin County
north of San Francisco:

Unfortunately, as they are still in the planning stages for this
summer's fair (weekends July 10-August 15, 11am-7pm), most of the

California Independent Renaissance Guilds Association (CIRGA):

On this webpage, you will find a listing of all Renaissance-style
fairs and festivals in California in 2004. You will note that there is
a listing for a 'Golden Gate Renaissance Faire' scheduled for Aug

There does not appear to be any fairs in Santa Clara this year.

Thanks for the tip! Yes, it's probably a little too chilly for a fair
in the SF Bay area right now. However, there do seem to be some listed
on the CIRGA page taking place in southern California later this
month, if you happen to be up for a road trip!

Thanks! Now I just have to wait all the way until July. I suppose it
