Google has a "domain restrict" function which restricts the search to
within a specific domain...how can I automate this function so that I
can search hundreds of specific websites at a time. In other words, I have a
list of hundreds of websites that I want to search for a specific
phrase, but I don't want to do them one at a time...

Hi there,

You can search up to 9 sites (each counts as a keyword and Google has
a 10 keyword limit), like:

bones (site:health.nih.gov | site:my.webmd.com | site:health.yahoo.com
| site:intelihealth.com | site:healthy.net | site:healthtouch.com |
site:healthatoz.com | site:mayoclinic.com)

Beyond that, someone may have used Google's API to make something more
powerful. I am only aware of one that *excludes* sites:
