Are you saying that a transaction referencing VREDOME has appeared on
your  credit card or some other kind of statement?

I'm wondering if breaking the name down would help. The most plausible
references I have found to VRE are to the VIRGINIA RAILWAY EXPRESS.
Does that ring any kind of bells to you?

language restrictions. In this case, there are also no results for
this term.

This could mean, that this term exists, but has no online presence, or
at least none that was captured by Google.

But it is highly unlikely: 
- That this is a name of a person or a firm (at least not a popular one)
- That this is a term in a "foreign language". 

There is a possibility that you - or the person who gave it to you,
misheard or misspelled the term. Could that be the case?

There is a similar sounding term in ecommerce, but it is not related
directly to transactions.

I think that knowing the context of the reference would be helpful. 
Can you supply the sentence or place that you encountered the word?

VREDOME is shown in a financial statement as the source of income. The
name could be misspelled but we have no other information.
