I have asked the editors to remove my (non) Answer. 

I have not had any luck in locating a Green Mini iPod for shipment
today. I've checked dozens of Apple authorized resellers, Apple's own
online store, and several of the U.S. Apple retail stores. None have
the product in stock. Apple's own retail stores indicated they'll have
"more next week."

Apple's online store promises a green, iPod mini delivered wtihin one
to three weeks.
