I need to efficiently plan a call cycle for 80+ customers of various locations and distances. The difficulty I am having is managing accounts in similar areas that I have called upon who all require different days for meeting the ordering person & different days for training and merchandising. |

My guess is most sales representatives forget cycles and make follow up calls when convenient for them and the customer. Some customers are happy to see you most any time you drop in. Others want you to make an appointment one or more days in advance. Still others don't want to see you at all, unless you have really good idea for them. It of course depends conciderably on your line of products and services. Fresh citrus is somewhat different than engineering satellites for GEO orbit. Neil |

Rhino -- Why not set up your contact management so that each call generates a "follow up on month/day" message. That puts the sales person -- who should be the most-knowledgeable one about the account -- in control. Best regards, Omnivorous-GA |
