There was a romance novel that I read part of in around 1992, and now
I?d like to read the rest of it.

The story was about a professional bare-knuckle boxer who fought to
raise money for his daughter. His wife had left him or perhaps died;
the idea that he was raising his five year-old on his own.

I don?t know the publisher, but I know it was one of those
assembly-line romance novels, so it was published by Mills and Boon,
or a similar type of publisher.
