Question ID: 314024
For my Viewsonic Airpanel 110, i need a pcmcia infrared card. A CF
IrDa card and a converter to pcmcia should also be ok. According to
viewsonic, their NEVO software is compatible with Compaq iPAQ 2200,
3900, and 5400 series of Pocket PC's. I already have the NEVO
software...

I was not able to find a infrared pcmcia or compactflash card, can anybody help ??

dear aht-ga,

yes i know this, and i have been trying to get one, either through
viewsonic, or uei (the manufacturer of nevo (and mynevo.com):
viewsonic simply says NO, and uei says they only build them in, into
some ipaqs.....

so i guess, the Irda adapter should somehow me compatible with the
former named ipaq models....

i bought my airpanel at 28 august 2003, in Amsterdam (where i live)
which gives viewsonic 2 reasons not to sell, even when i told them
that i'm willing to pay for it (fully, including transport, etc.).

blokje-ga:

I have not found one for you yet, either. I wanted to check something
with you, though. When did you buy your airpanel 110? If you purchased
in recently, after Jan. 15th, you can get an upgrade kit for free from
Viewsonic:

Can you tell me when you purchased your airpanel?

Thanks,

aht-ga
