This script can works from a regular PC or a server, and use the
Amazon web page or Web services. Web services will be much faster.
Use any Linux (preferred) or Windows technology. If you provide a
detailed design, I'll pay $40. If you write the script, I'll pay $80.
If you do the harvest of all million (or so) amazon products and send
to me on a CD-ROM or DVD, I'll pay $190.

Please design a harvesting script that would allow a person to
retrieve all products:

1. in a category
2. in a sub-category
3. by manufacturer within a category
4. by manufacturer across multiple or all categories
5. by product keyword
6. by product number (amazon)

Obviously, this must work within the limits of the API, so in many
cases, it would have to harvest segments, for example, in harvesting
products in a category, it would have to break it up by the alphabet,
or sub-alphabet. This technique can be used to drain any database,
but if you have a better or different technique, that's fine. The
point is -- I want each category, and want to harvest each item in
that category in an orderly way. You must be an amazon associate
(takes a day to get your approval and number) to acces their web
services tools, but the script should work without any special tool or
associate number (if possible).
