I need an answer ASAP and I hope someone knows it! :)

Just a quickie:

In Outlook Express for the Mac is there a way to remove the "you
forwarded this message on xxx date" notice in the preview pane? (I can
hide the column, but I'd rather remove the forward
information/link/notice entirely.)

In the layout menu there is option  show preview pane header.
Unselect that option.It doesn't display headers in your preview pane
