I am looking for wholesale sources for stretch twill cotton fabric to
be screen printed on. The fabric must: be able to be screen printed on
and not distort the pattern; retain its shape (not stretch out); be
washable; be a natural color (off-white, similar to muslin but without
the flaws/inclusions); sell for a dollar a yard or less.

Go to the top left hand portion of the website, and you will see the
graphic for the "Textile Bluebook." You will be able to search for a
limited amount of companies, but you need to go to the library in
order to find more information. This should be a standard reference
book for textiles..

You can do a lot of searching for fabric on the net. Most textile
companies do business the old fashioned way--though telephone and fax!
There is not much incentive for most of them to go online
(manufacturers) because they already have customers. If you do your
homework, you might be able to find overruns, or seconds in this type
of material..
