I downloaded "Freeride Earth" from http://www.acid-play.com/ and
installed it on my Dell PC w/Win98SE o/s. When I execute the program,
it opens a panel and hangs. At one time it said something about
failing to find a Windows Association exe file for a Windows BMP
Image. I had this program on my program before and it ran fine, but
now it fails. I cannot figure out what I did to cause the problem. I
have SpyKiller but I can't figure out how it can interfere. The only
thing I can think of is that I have uninstalled some other programs
and the uninstalled wiped out some file that Freeride Earth needed.

Can you help me?

Try uninstalling Freeride Earh and then reinstall again and see if it
solves the problem.

I had Freeride Earth installed and running for several years. Just
recently I tried running it and it hung up as I tried to describe.
So, I went to the url I referenced, downloaded and installed the
latest version. The same thing happened.

At one point the error message said something that a Window
Association for the BMP exe was missing or could not be located. I
cannot find out how to overcome this problem. While you are
investigating further, I will Google "Window Association" to see what
I find.
