Sidestroke http://swimming.about.com/gi/dynamic/offsite.htm?site=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.geocities.com%2FColosseum%2FArena%2F7828%2Ffun.html%23corkscrew Begin by floating with the hand you write with facing the bottom of the pool (if you are ambidextrous, make a choice). Start a scissors kick, which is: one leg forward and bent at about a 90 degree angle to the upper leg, and one leg backward and bent. Move them together in rapid "cutting" motions. Practice! Do a similar motion with your arms. Best regards, tlspiegel |
