Could someone post a link to a website with the full text ? Links to
the other states' declarations would be a good bonus worth a tip. I'm
not helped by the fact that I don't know how ordnance or secession is
spelt, lol

Dear wolvies,

Please follow this link to read the full texts of the Ordinances of
Secession of all 13 Confederate States, including South Carolina; for
a number of states, there is also a link to their Declarations of
Secession:
http://www.civil-war.net/pages/ordinances_secession.asp
Source: The Civil War Home Page - Ordinances of Secession of the 13
Confederate States of America

In case you are mainly interested in South Carolina's extensive
Declaration of Secession rather than its Ordinance of Secession, here
is a direct link to the full text, from the same website as above:
http://www.civil-war.net/pages/southcarolina_declaration.asp

Fascinating stuff!

Our schools teach that the Civil War was not fought mainly to end
slavery, but for a host of other reasons. Interesting to read in
South Carolina's own words that its sole reason for seceding was that
northern states were refusing to return fugitive slaves to it.
