I made a short trailer -- three minutes long -- for an offbeat
science fiction animated feature that I would like to get made. Fill
me in -- is there a website to send my trailer now where it will get
viewed by decision-makers like studio's and DVD publishers? It is not
a "short" so much as an example of the style/tenor/story.

There have not been a lot of answers, so I'm guessing the answer is
"no." So, how about if we clarify this into something list-oriented. A
book that basically implies that "Disclaimer" agreements are for the
birds and that has a directory of trade groups as well as distributors
and studio's, "From Reel to Deal" by Dov Siemens got me wondering if I
shouldn't make use of my strengths better.I have an animated trailer;
is there a list of studio's who will accept a query letter by e-mail
and who will not need a disclaimer to see my trailer, or who might
like to bring my trailer with them to the next convention/market?
Answer
There is no answer at this time.

Have you submitted it to Atom Films yet?

Not yet. Of the remaining large distributors of short films --Apollo,
Ifilm, Big Film Shorts, AtomFilms, CinemaNow and Odyssey3d (that I
know of) -- AtomFilms has had some of the best press, with names like
Spielberg. According to an old WSJ article, their short film deal used
to be $300 exclusive (if they thought it fit their needs), a 20%
royalty (to the filmmaker) and stock options.

Do you know something I don't?
