Inovation is sometimes desirable as your competion is doing it. Long term failure to inovate can make your product or service less useful to potential customers. On the other hand some existing customers don't want changes even if they are improvements in other customers opinion ie My cable company rearrages the channel assignments about once per year. This means I have to learn over again where the few channels I like are found. It has been several years since they added a channel that I like, so I hate that sort of inovation. Inovation typicaly has some costs to the share holders, even if it is merely considered, but not implimented. Communications is important to keep management and employees aware that they should not rock the boat by trying unapproved inovations or alternately that possibly useful ideas should be submitted in the form of an employee suggestion for proper processing. Likely you have something other than what I posted in mind, so you should clarify somemore. Neil |
