Howdy rjr-ga!
I found a great site that not only has the roster for the 1975-76 U.S.
National Team, which was essentially "Team USA" at the 1976 Olympics in
Innsbruck, but also has stats for each player, such as position, etc.
This list has 8 more players than David Wallechinsky list, and since it
also includes the Wallechinsky names as well, I am confident that it is
complete. The below list can be found on The Internet Hockey Database,
which is a gold mine of hockey statistics.

Bob Johnson - Coach

Head coach at the University of Wisconsin, then for the Calgary Flames,
with a championship win in 1991 with the Pittsburgh Penguins.
Here is the link to the listing for the 1975-76 U.S. National Team as
presented on The Internet Hockey Database web site.

Search Strategy:
Google search on: 1976 team roster hockey Olympics
://www.google.com/search?q=1976+team+roster+hockey+Olympics
Did lots of variations on the above and more until I found The Internet
Hockey Database.
