I am an aspiring singer songwriter who wants to emulate the sound of
Chris Carraba on his first album "The Swiss Army Romance". To do so I
need to know what he used to record this album. The answer to this
question would include in Order of importance:

Guitars (and if possible which type of guitar for which song)
Microphones 
Amplifiers
Pre-Amplifiers
Mixing software
