Hi, I'm looking for Ebay Consignment Stores in Manhattan or vicinity. I have a garage full of stuff I want someone to sell on ebay for me but I don't have the time. I would like to find a store like "QuickDrop" or "Auction Wagon" (they don't have any locations in my area) to get my stuff out of my garage and manage the selling of it on ebay for a fee of course. I would like a list of 3 to 5 stores. The preferred store would be the ones that go out to the site and picks up my stuff. Thanks. mediatek01 |

I've heard a lot about Adam Hersh Auctions: "Hersh, 25, began selling items for others on eBay four years ago, and now has made it a full-time business, serving customers from offices in Manhattan, where he employs three full-time data-entry workers. No one brings items to him; instead, he and a network of contractors go to clients' homes to take the photos and write the descriptions of the items for placement on eBay's site. Some other companies say they're planning to open drop-off locations in the city, but Hersh said the potential competition doesn't concern him. He notes that it's easier for him to go to clients than for clients to lug their items on the subway, bus or cab to a drop-off point." http://www.adamhershposters.com/Newsday.html Adam Hersh Auctions 800-503-9457 212-822-8895 Info@AdamHersh.com http://members.ebay.com/ws2/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewUserPage&userid=adamhersh |

These eBay consignment businesses are not in Manhattan, but they might be worth investigating. In Levittown: http://www.nyoasis.com/sellers.html In New Jersey: http://www.auctionitnj.com/ In Danbury, Connecticut: http://www.sellers-market.com/ |

Have you tried asking sellers on Ebay that would do it for you? http://www.ebay.com/tradingassistants/index.html?ssPageName=STRK:SRVC:022 On Ebay's own program, called Trading Assistants, sellers would sell your items for you. You can ask some if they would pick it up for you and handle everything. Just search by area code 212. |
