I am completly confuse about Google Ranking! I have 4 diferent domain names pointing to same IP address for now. www.high-enterprises.com www.getresume.com www.getcv.com www.net2phone.co.yu I am confused because if you try searching for High Enterprises ://www.google.com/search?sourceid=navclient&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8&q=high+enterprises Google will display www.net2phone.co.yu domain on first page...Can you try to explain why is this domain name displayed and not some other of my 4 domains or all of them. I have not added URL for any of domains or anything of this kind...In fact in a couple of months we will move www.getresume.com and www.getcv.com, as these are in development stage! |

Hi there, When Google notices duplicate websites, it usually makes a guess as to which one is more important, and that one will appear highest in search results. All four sites appear to be identical. If one site is being linked to by more or better webpages, then it will be chosen. If all factors are totally equal, then Google probably just guesses. Or it might use the first one it came across. I would've expected the one with the keywords in the domain name to rank higher... robertskelton-ga Google Answers Researcher |
