I bought and installed the latest (8.2) ver of MusicMatch Pro on my
Win XP system.

I installed the Nomad drivers for XP, and when I attached the device
using a USB cable I had lying around, it says it sees the computer,
and XP makes that sound that it makes when it detects new hardware.
It loaded the drivers and everything seems fine.

When I go to MusicMatch to bring up the Portable Device Manager (under
the view menu) nothing happens. The drive cranks and cranks, but
nothing happens.

I am trying to avoid loading the heap of software creative ships with
the player. I know MusicMatch supports it, and I already paid for it,
so I just want to make it work.

thanx in advnce,

Can I skip the whole process by using my Belkin USB Dual Media
reader/Writer (FSU142) to just write to the 128mb Smart Media card
that i bought for the Nomad?

What format do I use , MP3 files in a folder?
Do I need to format the card first? If so, fat32 or some other format?

thanx in advnce,
