Some websites have HTML code listed that can be copied to your own
website. Depending on the HTML code you can have many displays on your
website.

A.	HTML code which will only provide a link back to a certain website,
without searching for anything in particular.
B.	HTML code that shows an advertisement banner.
C.	HTML code that displays ?useful? information. Examples:
?	A box you can use as a dictionary to search for translations.
?	A box for finding synonyms.
?	A box for finding a certain word in an electronic dictionary.
?	A box of a search engine.
?	And much more.

What is ?useful?? Anything that is NOT just advertisement (related) or
shows pictures. I consider ?useful? anything that someone can add to
his/her web site to get a specific task (finding a word, finding a
translation, displaying the weather, finding a post office, checking
the movie theaters etc.) done. ONLY HTML code that falls in category
?C? (not into ?A? or ?B?) per the above list is of interest for me.)

Here is what I need. I am looking for websites that LIST numerous
readily available (copy and paste) HTML codes that can be added to my
website and will be useful.

 ________________________________________________________
Here are two examples how HTML source code looks. (These are not
necessarily examples for good applications but it gives you an idea
about the appearance.)

Example 1:

Just copy and paste the following HTML into your page...

<a href="http://www.Planet-Source-Code.com">
<IMG border=0
src="http://www.Planet-Source-Code.com/vb/images/PlanetSourceCodeButton.jpg">
</a>

Example 2:

Copy this Html Source Code
<CENTER><A HREF="http://www.bridesbymail.com/index.html">
<IMG SRC="http://www.yoursite.com/bbmicon1.gif"
BORDER=1 HEIGHT=75 WIDTH=105></A><BR><B><I><FONT SIZE=-1>
<A HREF="http://www.bridesbymail.com/index.html">
Brides by mail</A></FONT></I></B></CENTER>

If you can find website(s) with a number of HTML codes that can be
readily pasted into an existing website, I want to pay $1 per ?useful
application? up to $40 in total.

Dear gfs-ga,

In your comment you said:

?Can I get additional 50 or 100 URLs if I pay additional $50 or $100?
($1 per URL) I would also be very interested in websites that have a
COLLECTION of useful HTML codes??

This is what I found.

- 7 Joke Generators (daily update)
- 5 Cartoons and Comics (daily update or 4 times a week update)
- 15 miscelaneous (sports, horoscopes, news, quote, tip of the day etc?)
- 1 directory of news, comics, games, horoscope and weather feeds.

Since this question is already rated and closed, I suggest you post a
new question addressed to me, and priced accordingly.

To do so, just write in the subject line ?For bobbie7-ga only? and
that way I will answer your question with the above information.

Very much what I was looking for. Thank you for this great answer.

Can I get additional 50 or 100 URLs if I pay additional $50 or $100?
($1 per URL) I would also be very interested in websites that have a
COLLECTION of useful HTML codes? What are the chances to locate a
website with comprehensive HTML listings? I am interested in every
possile topic, as long as it has some practical use.

Examples for HTML created search boxes:

- Law and Government(Law dictionary, search supreme court cases, find
your representative or senator . . .)
- Quotes and jokes (displays a daily changing quote or joke on your website)
- Key in your ZIP code and locate a postal office in your area.
- Find an ATM based on ZIP code
- Key in your ZIP code and get a map displayed.

All of the above is readily available on websites. I am not aware of
any HTML codes I can copy and paste to achieve the same on my website.

The list is really endless. As long as it is INFORMATION and NOT
advertisement, it is helpful. Hopefully, I am not the first one with
this idea - somebody else should have collected these HTML codes. As
already asked earlier, what are the chances of finding a website with
a collecton of HTML codes categorized by topics?

Dear Gfs,

Unfortunately I did not come across a website that has a collection of
useful HTML codes. That doesn't mean that it doesn't exist.

I would suggest that you post a new question requesting this
information and perhaps another researcher will have better luck.

Sincerely,
Bobbie7
