Hello Researchers! Your mission should you choose to accept it, is to provide me with links to any NEGATIVE reports about MBNA Europe Bank. I am only interested in reports that talk about MBNA misleading its customers. Am mainly interested in cases that have happened in the UK, and particularly (but not necessarily), cases to do with credit card applications, and how prospective applicants have been approached in stores by MBNA's reps. Here is one example : http://money.guardian.co.uk/feedback/story/0,13393,1103929,00.html I am also aware of the site "mbnasucks.org" but I have not searched the site. If there are any UK cases, please provide the links. Please can you also search the Financial Ombudsman site, in case you find any cases about MBNA there. The site is www.financial-ombudsman.org.uk Thank You. Screba |

I'm in the UK and I've had an MBNA card for ages without any problems. On the contrary, I've found them very helpful and I do like their on-line facilities. However, they ARE very aggressive and they do employ salesfolk who patrol the streets and push their CCs. (They are not the only ones.) |
