Is there any defense or law reference for the state of California that
I could use to defend against unknown laws? For example: my friend was
ticketed on a UC for riding the bike in the wrong direction. (link:
http://www.dmv.ca.gov/pubs/vctop/d11/vc21113.htm Subsection F) while
there is no state law about it, they allow UC's to dictate laws. He
honestly did not know it was against the rules. I assume the court
doesn?t allow the plead of ignorance, but how does one defend ones
self against stuff like this? If someone outside of the spectrum of
law has time to enjoy reading Laws cover to cover I?d like to meet
them!
