against him, and there doesn't seem to be any active complaints (or
plaudits) posted on the internet.

I was looking for information that might differentiate this
psychologist from other psychologists in good standing.  For example,
feedback from patients or from other professionals who have referred
patients to him; awards and honors he has received; his publications
in peer-reviewed journals; other information that might reflect his
standing among his peers.
