I am searching for any web pages, articles, papers, brochures, etc.
that discuss placing a hyperlink in an email which in turn provides
the recipient with order status or tracking information. You've seen
this if you've ordered almost anything online or shipped by FedEx or
UPS. Here is what you need to provide for this question to be
considered answered:

1. Your reference, article, web page, brochure, newsgroup discussion,
etc, must have a date prior to December 4, 1997. If there is no date
or the date is after 12/4/97, the question is not answered.

2. Your reference will discuss the placing of a "link" in an email,
which then automatically directs the recipient to the order status
information. Not simply an email message stating that an order has
shipped, but a link to the information.

3. We already know of the following references and should not be
included in your answer...

US Pat 5860068, 5959944, 5946276, 5930768 or 5592511 (and all patents
they reference)

Amazon's SEC filing Form 424B1AMAZON COM INC - AMZNFiled: May 15, 1997

FedEx's website reference to its web-based order tracking. (Although
if you have more detailed information, it might be considered)

The more references and the greater detail earns you great reviews and tips.

Thanks and I look forward to your results.
