Dear Tashaga,
Food State, Multivitamin products that are produced by Natur Vital
GmbH is suitable for vegetarians and even for vegans. Two Food State
products are especially produced for children.
"Die FOOD STATE Produkte sind

frei von Milchprodukten (Laktose) und Zucker
frei von Konservierungsmitteln
frei von künstlichen Farb- und Aromastoffen
frei von aktiver Hefe und daher geeignet für candida-sensitive Personen
hergestellt ohne genmanipuliertes Material"
Translation:
The Food-State products are:
- Suitable for vegetarian and vegans
- Wheat, gluten, and starch free
- Preservatives free
- Free from artificial flavouring and colouring
- Free from active yeast and therefore suitable for people with Candida problems.
- produced without the usage of GM materials.
Natur-Vital products could be found on their site:
<http://www.naturvital.de/>
The company manufactures:
- Multivitamine + Mineralien für Kinder (tablets)
- VITA-MIN-DRINK (a powder for a drink).
Both of them could be obtained in health/nature stores (Reformhaus and
the like). It could be also purchased online:
Pretty Nails
<http://www.prettynails.de/online-shop/c54.html>
Smaragdina
<http://www.smaragdina.at/site/gesundheit/produkte/foodstate.htm> .
RoseHip sells another product:
KauPresslinge fuer Kinder
<http://www.rosehip.de/Supplements/Kinder/Prod_Kinder.htm> (the V in
the product number signifies it is a vegetarian product).
Other vegetarian multivitamins for children are available in Germany,
but are not manufactured there.
Here are names of companies that might "sound German":
- AllVital is a Dutch manufacturer, with a German "name" and site:
<http://www.allvital-products.com/>. They produce "AllVital-Zellnähr-
und Zellschutz-Komplex für Kinder", which is a vegetarian multivitamin
for children.
- Centrum is a British company, which manufactures non-vegetarian multivitamins.
If you understand German, this questionnaire would help you shape the
vitamin intake for your child (or for you):
ViaStoff - Vitamin Profil
<http://www.vitalstoffe.de/vitaminprofil.shtml>
I hope this answered your question. I searched for terms (mostly in
German) that are connected to the issue: multivitamin/e,
vegetarier/vegetarisch, kinder. Please contact me if you need any
clarification on this answer before you rate it. |

Hi,
The company I am looking for produces their children multivitamins in
Germany in a gummie bear form. They have a distributor in America, and
in America vitamins called Kid Bear. What I need is to know who
produces these or other vegetarian gummie bears for kids in Germany.
Thanks

Dear Tashaga,
Well, it was hard to read your mind from your question :-)
The KidBear site <http://www.kidbear.com/> says: "Kid Bear is an
exclusive, vegan/vegetarian supplement line from: Kid Care Inc., 4420
Via Real, Suite B, Carpinteria, CA 93013 ; Telephone: (805) 566-2473
or email info@kidbear.com " and I found no indications otherwise. The
company is part of Edward and Sons Inc.
<http://www.edwardandsons.com/>, which specialises in its own vegan
and organic products.
However, there is a sort of multivitamin gummi bears in Germany:
Sanatur SpiruBär Gummibärchen ohne Gelatine
<http://www.spirulina.de/produkte.php?pos=|1|6&nav_id=6&titel=Lebensmittel>
(There are also candies and other products of that kind, all made of
spirulina mixure with other ingredients)
You could buy it directly from Sanatur or at:
Produkte für ein besseres Leben
<http://www.ein-besseres-leben.de/e72cffdc/q6626.html>
Seitenbacher produces "wine"/gummi candies (not bears though), that
are multivitamin and suitable for vegetarians:

Hi,
Thanks for your quick respond.
I know about Kid Bear and Edward and sons, I also know that they make
their gummy bears vegetarian multivitamins in Germany and I was hoping
to find out who manufactures them. Do you think you can find that out?
Regards
PS. Sanatur SpiruBär doesn?t look like a multivitamin to me and
wine"/gummies are not bears

Dear Tashaga,
SpiruBär is the closest thing I found that is manufactured in Germany
by a German firm.
The other candies came as an additional information - of multivitamin
candies produced in Germany.
I'll check with more sources this afternoon, but please let me
understand: you are actually not looking for *a* German manufacturer,
but for *the* manufacturer of Kid Bear, maybe in order to bypass their
price level? If so, this was not clear by your initial question and
not also by your request for clarification.

Hi Politicalguru-ga,
My apologies if I had misled you at first.
Let me try to clarify my question.
I know, for a fact, that Kid bear is being manufactured in Germany, so
I am looking ether for the German manufacturer of Kid Bear or for any
company that manufactures vegetarian gummy bears multivitamins for
children in Germany.
Therefore, I?m looking for a German manufacturer of vegetarian
multivitamins gummy bears for children.
Please let me know if this explanation is good enough.
Thank you
Tasha

Dear Tashaga,
"Plante International
Plante International in collaboration with Merck Laboratories of
Germany has created a unique concept for vitamins. We have
successfully injected 100% of the daily vitamin requirements into a
soft chewable ?Gummi? vitamin with natural fruit flavors and natural
colors. Plante currently markets three varieties of children?s
vitamins under the Children?s Choice brand. Gummi Bear Multi vitamins,
Gummi Lion vitamin C plus zinc and Gummi Rabbit multi vitamin,
fortified with six vegetables, and make up our current children?s
vitamins line. "

In addition, Bears & Friends (Sporergässchen 1 04109 Leipzig), make
gummy bears without gelatine, and could be custom made (incl.
mutli-vitamin); same goes for Bärenland (http://www.baerenland.com/)
Honig-Doppelbärchen
"Honig-Doppelbärchen (Gummibärchen). Mit 10% Honiganteil und
Vitaminen. Multivitamin; Garantiert ohne Verwendung von
Rindergeletine.
murgtalimkerei.de http://www.murgtalimkerei.de.
Honey-Multi-Vitamin gummy bears without animal-gelatine.
I'll keep on asking if there are any other sorts
