I was curious as to whether having a finance job (investment banking,
stock broker,...) leads to one's having an angle in one's own
investments. I ask b/c I was wondering if the real money to be made
from the stock market is in commissions, one's salary, and promotions,
as opposed to knowing how to find stocks that will beat the S&P by 5%.
I also ask b/c I'm wondering if there are such tremendous resources
that investment banks have at their disposal that an individual really
doesn't have a hope of reliably approximating their rate of return.
