Question ID: 317924
I read the AP news on the Yahoo website and watch CNN Headline News
and sometimes the BBC news. It all seems so repetitive and focused on
the latest disasters.

I'd like to find other sources for the news that keep me informed but
avoid repeating themselves over and over. And I'd like to save time.

Did you try the news service provided by google ?
At Google News
you wonīt be bored with repeated messages over and over again.

And google news offers another - in my opinion great - service. The
google news alert (beta state):

( ://www.google.com/newsalerts?hl=en )
keeps you informed by e-mail on exactly the topics you wish to watch.
You will be notified by mail when new news appear.

Thatīs what I call "time saving". You do not have to browse through
all the news to find out the interesting ones for you.
After entering the keywords (topics) of your personal preference you
will get a mail as soon as new messages by the google news system.

I hope that google news will keep you well informed.

No search done as I use google news every day.

Till,

Thanks. This is a good start. I really want a broader range of choices
then just Google.

The pop-ups on the allyoucanread site are really annoying.

Hi mister2u, pafalafa, voila,

Thanks for several fun and or informative news web sites.

I think that wn.com is a really good replacement for my Yahoo news.
