I am seeking information and data points regarding:

a) growth of unstructured data in the enterprise vs structured information systems

b) mix distribution of that unstructured data between:

- Emails
- Documents
- Comments/Notes fields in back-end ERP/CRM type systems
- Other (web, IM, blogs etc)

The fundamental objective is to better understand how much of the
"valuable" information is controlled directly or indirectly (e.g
attachments) by the corporate email system (Outlook/Lotus Notes)
