Forcing someone into bankruptcy in Canada: file in court a petition for a receiving order against a debtor Background: Hello ? There are two people which signed consents to judgments for $80,000 and never paid, and wrote $120,000 worth of checks that bounced. One of them also agreed to repay a group of people $520,000 a few months ago for funds that should have been repaid two years ago. This person has bounced hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of checks, which I have access to. I would like to file a petition to force him into bankruptcy. (In my court case, they admitted fraud so I am not worried about him dropping what he owes me) Question: Where can I get a template of exact description of what the petition has to look like? This kinda shows what it must contain - http://laws.justice.gc.ca/en/B-3/5783.html - but I want a ?sample? or something. I understand that I server this like any Statement of Claims. Where do I then file it? I am in Toronto |
