You can use a program called Total Recorder. It will record music streams from the internet. Here is a link to the program. http://www.highcriteria.com/ Good Luck, Tim |

[The response from kb5zcr-ga is a comment, not an answer. You get comments for free...] One option for downloading songs is using Media Player 9: 1. Click Services from the taskbar 2. Browse the available services. New services will be added periodically so be sure to check back often. http://www.microsoft.com/windows/windowsmedia/9series/gettingstarted/WhatsNew/ExploreMusic.asp?page=2&lookup=ExploreMusic Available services will vary depending on where you live. Do you live in the USA, or elsewhere? Regarding the legality of burning songs to a CD - this is a massive subject - there is some information and links to be found in a previous answer: http://answers.google.com/answers/threadview?id=174004 |

Downloading music can be done legally for $0.99 per song on iTunes. While iTunes is created by the Apple Computer corporation, it can also be used on PCs. Also, Pepsi is giving away 1,000,000 songs. One in three bottles of pepsi has a code that allows you to buy a free song on iTunes. First, you create an account through iTunes at http://www.itunes.com Second, you must download iTunes from http://www.itunes.com After downloading, run the iTunes application and search for songs! The downside of iTunes, however, is that all downloaded songs are protected content. The files can only be run in iTunes, yet you can still burn them to CD. Once burned to CD, the songs can be ripped (copied off the CD) to your computer as any file type you desire. If you are wanting to download songs legally for free, try a site like http://www.mp3.com But with thousands of hit songs at $0.99 each, the music is practically free anyway. Happy Downloading -- LEGALLY! zfunkychicken |
