I might be headed to San Francisco for a 6-month job and I was
thinking of doing an apt swap with someone from San Francisco.  I?m
new to apartment swapping so in addition to finding suitable swaps I
would also like to get some information on:
1. How do I handle my mail
2. Does my landlord need to know about my swap
3. Insurance
4. Cancellations
5. Anything else you think I should know about

I?m looking to swap my Manhattan, NY apt for an apt in the city of San
Francisco from mid April to mid October of this year.

I want specific apts to swap with not just home-swapping sites.
