Question ID: 3185
single forrest, single domain. two DCs one exchange 5.5. Domain running native.
Installed ADC on DC1 with one pub agreement and one private. this went pretty
well. then on newinstalled server: exchange setup /forestprep then
setup /domainprep, this went well. Then setup, went well, but the drive showed
to be bad. to avoid AD confusion ( i thought ) i reinstalled the server with a
new name, after removing the beforename from the exchange 5.5. when trying to
run forestprep, i get all kinds of errorcodes ( these i can find on technet ):
0X8007203A 0XC0070424 0X80004002 0X8000500D and setup repports something like
exchange container sub component could not be created. I have tried changing
the ldap port on the exchange 5.5, and going in with ldp on the AD, removing
the configuration connection, but the same result. It would seem to me that
some of all the crap from the 1. forestprep run, is in the way ? If you have
any good suggestions.
