I have not come up with much more than you have found so I will open this question to someone else. One product you didn't mention was Snapfish: "Snapfish (www.snapfish.com) also produces these books. Its format is 9 inches by 11 inches. Each page can hold as many as three pictures. The pictures are printed on a high-grade, glossy bond paper. Snapfish states that this will easily last 100 years or more. Once registered with Snapfish?s Web site, you upload your pictures. In the "create a MemoryBook" section, you choose between single- or double-sided pages. You can also add short captions to each picture. Once your book is formatted, preview it. What you see is exactly what your book will look like. Snapfish is for Windows only. Each book is $29.95." |

Howdy melonhead-ga, Have you considered having one company do the prints, and another the bookbinding? Here is a company that people I know have always worked with for their limited edition art books; Denver Bookbinding. http://www.denverbook.com/shortrun.htm "In today's world, with the advancement of computers and printers, one of the major benefits is that you can produce your own book, whether it is a family history, poetry book, or a school yearbook. Denver Bookbinding Company can provide the hard cover binding from the printed and collated pages that you provide. We can use all types of materials for the covers from canvas-based bookbinding cloth to printed laminated covers. Pricing is based upon quantity. Pricing starts at one book up to 1,000 books. Pricing for over 50 books is done on an individual basis and is contingent upon what you want as an end product." Looking Forward, denco-ga - Google Answers Researcher |
