Which specific existing website were you trying to find with that search term?

That would be of help in answering your question.

Thank you,

Serenata

This is the website in queston: http://ca.geocities.com/allan_macneil/
When searching with terms that I know are on the homepage, such as
psychotherapy and NLP, I still can't find it with Google. Why?

Dear The Lad,

Before I begin my answer, I want to make sure that you know that
Google Answer Researchers, such as me, are not Google employees. What
I write here is my own researched opinion and not an official Google
position.

The site abovementioned is not indexed by Google. There are several
reasons why this could happen:
- It has been indexed by Google but was removed, because of violations
of Google's Terms of Service; or because of a technical glitch (see:
- It has never been indexed by Google.

How does Google index sites?

- It helps if you list your site for indexing, using this link:
Submit your site
<://www.google.com/webmasters/1.html>

- However, Google's indexing and ranking basically works on an
elaborated algorithm, which crawls through links to and from your
site, and calculates their quality and quantity. Currently, you have
no sites linking to your site or vice versa. That means, that you site
is actually not visible online.

Therefore, you have to make sure - using various methods (directory
listing, links from other sites, etc.) - that you site would be
linked. A quality content, that might encourage others to link to your
site, is a good idea.

I hope that answered your question. I wish your good luck with your
site. I used my Google knowledge to answer this question, as well as
searched and looked through your site for your keywords and META tags.
Please contact me if you need any clarification on my answer. I'd be
pleased to clarify my answer before you rate/tip it.
