I would like to know
(1) the names
(2) approximate number of registered users; and
(3) URL's

of the top 3 Internet Service Providers (by number of users) in the
following countries
(1) Poland
(2) Czech Republic
(3) Hungary
(4) Slovakia

I am interested in posting online adverts on these sites and would
like to have details on advertising rates or an email address for each
ISP that I can email in English to enquire about advertising rates

Hi shleeman,

I am working on your question, but before I continue, I need to
clarify a few things with you:

The number of subscribers for the ISP's in their respective countries
is not always readily available. If it is available it is for the year
2000 or before.
If you would like, I can provide the three (or more) leading ISPs
(regardless of ranking) for each country.

Also, most of the ISP websites are in their native language and/or
only give general contact information.

Please let me know how you would like me to proceed.

Regards,
Rainbow~

Hi Rainbow

I do not necessarily need the exact numbers of users but I do want to
make sure I have the names and URLs of 3 of the large ISPs in each of
those countries. As there have been acquisitions etc. since 2000, not
sure that stats that old will tell you who are the current ISPs.

In terms of your question on native language that is my key problem -
I wnat to find out if and how I can correspond with them in English in
order to be able to place an ad with them.

Shleeman,

Just to make sure I understand your question, are you looking to
advertise on the top sites in these countries, or on the sites of the
top ISP's?

For instance, in the U.S., Yahoo is a top site, but not an ISP (at
least it wasn't last time I looked). On the other hand, Verizon is a
top ISP, but not a top site.

Just checking to make sure I'm headed in the right direction here.

Good point thanks.

Looking to advertise on top traffic locally based sites (e.g. Yahoo,
msn equivalents) rather than ISPs like Verizon though of course may be
the same in these countries.

Just to clarify:
Are you interested in the leading sites in terms of the most used
and/or most visited by the people of the respective countries?
Meaning, not necessarily ISPs or portals?

I want to be able to advertise on high traffic sites. However, it may
be for example that those sites are dating sites or news sites which
may not be suitable. I am really after more general sites which would
probably be portals/home pages of ISPs.

Reason this answer was rejected by shleeman-ga:
The response clearly does not answer the question. I have been given
a load of useless facts/information which I could have found myself in
5 minutes. Defeats the point of using the service.
