Perhaps some of the material below will be helpful to you.
ORGANIZATIONS:
http://www.iasc.org/
This is the International Aloe Science Council. They are a non-profit
group of aloe growers, big and small. If you can take the time to
read extensively, you can get a lot of information from this website
and from the websites of members.
http://www.iasc.org/validation.html
This is the "Certification" program of the International Aloe Science
Council. If you send an e-mail to the IASC, they will provide you
with information about how to become certified, and how to become a
member of their Council. It is possible they may have some
"educational assistance" available, in the form of videotapes, or
mentoring (mentoring can happen by telephone if the parties are on
different continents).
http://www.dmu.ac.uk/ln/pse -- world wide, and open to all:
This is the "Phytochemical Society of Europe" -- they say that their
group exists " to serve all those with an interest in the chemistry
and biochemistry of plants and in the applications of such knowledge
in industry and agriculture. The Society organises at least three
meetings a year in the United Kingdom and Continental Europe.
Membership of the Phytochemical Society of Europe is world-wide and
open to all."
http://www.ana-jana.org -- This is the American Neutraceutical
Association. Not sure if it will be of any help, but do look through
their web pages and read back issues of their newsletter, just in
case.
IN THE U.S.: http://www.mountainroseherbs.com/bulkherb/bulkherb.php
As you can see, they have high standards, but it is probably worth
trying to meet those standards. They buy direct, and in bulk.
http://www.iherb.com -- They deal direct with companies which supply
their products; that is, they would buy in quantity, if the aloe were
processed and packaged.

This is in India. He knows what it is like to start out from nothing.
He is developing a "certification" system for aloe (and perhaps other
products he grows). His brother is developing a cooperative; perhaps
you and your associates could join it also?
