I live in San Diego, California and I plan to buy a new Honda Pilot. But the problem is that I will be moving to Seattle, WA in about six months. I found from carsdirect.com that cars are more expensive in Washington than in California. (We are talking about $1,600's difference here in the case of a Hona Pilot.) I am also worried about the hassle and the cost of car registration, changing the license plate from California and Washington, the auto insurance difference (I do not know which place is more expensive in terms of auto insurance). Moving a car to Settle will be paid by a third-party and thus incur no cost on me. My question is whether I should buy a Honda Pilot in California now or wait till I move to Seattle. How much economical gain is there? I need supporting information with license and registration fees and auto insurance considered. |
