Thank you derty-ga for clarifying your requirements.

Unfortunately those are the most basic tutorials around. I even
learned to program Visual Basic using some of those tutorials and with
the help of some books.

But I do understand your problem. My suggestion is that among the
three, Visual Basic is the easiet to learn. I learned Visual Basic
using those tutorials and by buying books for beginners. Just do the
step by step tutorials in VB to get it. There is apparently no
shortcut way to this but to learn them step-by-step.

I think C# will be the hardest to learn and you can study it after
going through Visual Basic. ASP.net is an integration of the .Net
architecture of both languages so you better take it as the last
subject to learn. I suggest that you start learning VB.net then go to
C# and finallly to ASP.net

Maybe another strategy for learning is to take some courses. They are
not for free but at least you can ask teachers for support whenever
some matters become too difficult to understand. I went to class to
familiarize myself with C++. If you don't want to go to a physical
class, you can take them online. Worldwide Learn provides a list of
online trainings for the courses you would be interested in. If the
tutorials indeed are too difficult, taking classes is the best
recourse.

I hope this would be of help to you. Thanks!
