I would like an essay about following contest
"It used to be said that America was a culture of assimilation in
which ethnic groups were proud to blend into the mainstream culture.
Today there is more emphasis on diversity, and on balancing an
American identity with an ethnic identity. The tension between
assimilating and asserting a separate identity is most obious in
matter of race, religion, and gender, but also affects any
"outsiders": the disabled, the elderly, the poor."
How can you please help me?
