I am looking for a link which can provide the following information
spanning some 10 years or more:
Total daily volume for exchanges such as the Nasdaq and NYSE in the US.
The same for the LSE.
Preferably (but optional), the same for at least one other European
exhange and one major Asian stock exchange

Alternatively, I will be happy with average daily volume figures
calculated on an annual basis/half yearly basis etc. Basically I need
data that demonstrates the changes in daily volume on global stock
markets in the long term.
