Is it legal for a Pet Store in Califonia, where I purchased a puppy,
to give my name address and telephone number to a Realtor related to
the owner? Do  have any recourse?

I'm not a lawyer but unless you specifically requested that your
information not be passed along, I tend to doubt it.  Just guessing
here, but it sounds as if you may have mentioned that you're
moving/selling/buying a home and the pet store owner/worker passed on
the info in a casual manner?  If so then you "volunteered" the
information thereby making it public knowledge (kinda).

If I'm correct and you're just a bit peeved, have you asked for an
apology?  If you don't receive a satisfactory answer, a letter to your
local Better Business Bureau will get their attention and will make
you feel a LOT better!

But legal recourse?  Again, can you imagine what the judge might have
to say?  If it were me I'd take the approach that a few dog toys or
bags of dog food might go along way towards their putting a smile on
your face.  Or why not just bring Fido down to the storefront when he
has to, um, "Go"?
