I am looking for recent (2002 or 2003) data on the US market for
transvaginal ultrasound imaging equipment used in gyencology.  I am
not looking specifically for obstetric (baby) imaging, but can be a
bonus.
Information on major worlds markets (Japan, W. Europe) also a bonus.

Specifically, I am looking for installed base and new installations of
transvaginal ultrasound systems.  US Market share, at least top 5
(potential contenders are GE Medical, Siemens/Acuson, Philips/ATL,
Hitachi, Sonosite, Toshiba, others?).
How many installation in the last years, and average selling prices.
I am also looking for where the installed based of systems and new
installations go (hospital, outpatient clinics, doctor's offices).
I am also looking for reimbursement information for transvaginal
ultrasound procedures, including recent changes or new reimbursement
codes.
